L1 does not necessarily help in applying for green card. It's just another type of non-immigrant visa. What matters is if the person can qualify for EB1C. First line managers do not qualify. Even L1A does not equal EB1C. -singapura(江枫漁火); 2015-9-24 (#9681790@0) +1

Employer plays a major part in L1B petition,as they have to submit documents to prove relationships between the US company and the overseas company as affiliated companies, and you are being transferred from the overseas company to the US company as a specialist. The rest should be similar to H1B application. Let company lawyer to handle it. 我觉得现在eb2也挺快了，二年时间而已。L1A到EB1C不一定安全，要求和审核十分严格，证明材料繁多，一般移民律师都觉得头疼。我当时走的EB1C，公司律师都没完全把握。我们还是很大的公司。 -singapura(江枫漁火); 2015-9-16 (#9667470@0) +1
