工作学习 / 求学深造 / i am a second year BBA students, and i hardly make a decision which major is better for me.if i want to take accounting. dose the major good for me work in china?
someone told me the accounting system is different between china and Canada. So i take accounting in canada maybe does not fit on chinese accounting system when the day i back to china.
how about the major in finance ,international trade or marketing?
which one is better?

Major in accounting, get a CA. Forget about China. Have a nice life as a CA in Canada.

Trust me, after you spend more than 5 years in Canada, you don't really wanna go back to China to work, especially if you have worked in here and experienced the environment.

我认识一女士，87年左右来到多伦多，先在温哥华读了一经济管理本科。她做的第一份工是银行的TELLER，然后慢慢做到ACCOUNT MANAGER，后来考出CFA，做到高级ANALYST。年薪加COMMISION有400K吧。

I think one major that is both good in China and Canada is Actuarial Science -- Pension and Retirement System. China is blank at this (all chinese actuaries are in insurance) and it's ok to find a job in Canada.

Actuarial Science is a branch of STatisctics. Graduates usually are hired by insurance companies.
