不是现在签TN一定要TN letter，而是签TN一直都要TN letter。TN letter要雇主写。

You can only go to TN office when you go through custom there. So if you have no tickets, I do not think you can go in.

I can tell you 100% for sure now: (1).一定要TN letter, (2). TN letter一定要雇主写. and (3), You cannot come back after TN granted theoretically.But sometimes you can, you know.

No! I just got a TN recently. I tried with only the offer letter at first too, but was told :"missing TN letter!" and they showed me the requirement which specifies the TN letter explicitly as one KEY requirement.

I never got a rejection but was told:"Please come back again, whenever you get the TN letter!", and next day I did get the TN with a TN letter from the employer.

Offer Letter is to you, not to the officers. So they do not care your offer letter at all. The reason is that your offer letter ususally has no such wording as TN, has it?

np. even the print out of the email works, as long as there are TN workdings etc. and the contact info.on it,since they can contact your new employer if they have questions.

如果你的美国城市离加拿大很近，在开车范围内，你完全可以试试这么做。总之，你要让签证官相信，你签完TN后，立刻就去工作。哪怕你实际绕一圈回了加拿大。

我是比offer letter上的开始工作日期提前了两个多星期去签的。签证官对这个日期没有提问。后来我过了一个多星期入境的时候被问了一句为啥现在就入境，我说我要去找房子啊。也就过了。
