你上美国移民局网站去看一眼嘛,加拿大公民绝大多数签证类别都不需要去使领馆申请,直接带着材料,搭飞机的时候在过海关时当场批给你签证.绿卡什么的去文学城论坛,那里是我知道的最好的美国移民论坛.

H1签证现在没有名额了，你如果需要立即工作的话只能申请L1。至于申请绿卡，如果你能拿到L1A（经理级别的），那么办绿卡很容易；普通的工作只能是L1B，办绿卡据说也是很慢的。好处是配偶持L2可以工作。

Lots of scrutiny on L1A application and L1A to green card and there is a high rejection rate. Usually it requires audit by the USCIS and request for more evidence. While not much scrutiny on L1B application.

Complicated. But essentially you need to prove that both your overseas and current US positions are manager and executive level,and provide contacts of subordinates, percentage of management activities, budgetary authority and hiring/firing authorities, etc. 50% chances getting audited, esp. lower level managers.
