相约北美 / 移民留学 / 也借人气问问留学寄宿问题, 朋友女儿已经到美国读高中, 通过寄宿中介找了寄宿家庭. 现在寄宿家庭提出不再与美国的寄宿中介挂钩，这样可为他女儿节省挺多的中介费用, 请问这样是否可行,有否风险? 另外, 加拿大这边留学也是通过寄宿中介找寄宿家庭吗? 多谢

Should be fine. However, the student should know that in case there is any problem, she could call 911 for police.
