结了婚就有了合法身份了，住够规定的天数就可以申请公民了， 结婚以后不一定非要上学。

She cannot become citizen right away. Still have to go through applying for immigration and living here for 3 years before she can apply for citizenship.

Yes. But her 3 years as student can be count as 1 year of residence. So she can apply 2 years from now.

My mistake. Should be: She can apply for citizenship 2 years from the day she lands in Canada (not now). It will take a while (6 months maybe) for her to get LP.
