工作学习 / 求学深造 / 该死的concordia给我来了个offer，大家给我出出主意吧。今天早上收到国内来的email，说concordia给我来了封信，是master of computer science的admission letter，还scan了几张给我看看。没提钱的事情，说了有conditions of admission：参加一个english test(CELDT)，还要再学一堆ESL课程，除非CELDT考的好。现在住在toronto，搬来搬去实在是麻烦，不知道这样一个东西值不值的去。那个conditions of admission到底是什么意思？

That means you will be in the qualifying year, which means M1, not M2. I think the tuition of M1 is more expensive than of M2.

M1 means qualifying master, M2 means under no conditions. You must finish all the requests listed in you offer letter to change from M1 to M2.

谢谢大虾指点，看来这东西真是个鸡肋！信上说要参加一个CELDT（一个english test）before registration，还要学3门ESL。然后又说，如果CELDT结果证明你可以exempt，那你可以免掉一部分或全部的ESL课程，但是ESL207是minimum recommendation的。真是搞糊涂了。
是不是一定得完成他们这些conditions才可以注册成为graduate student啊？可不可以边学master的课程，边读这些bullshit啊？

Yes, you can. But if you are in the qualifying year of master, you can't get Graduate Assistantship.
