相约北美 / 移民留学 / 请问，父母来探亲买单程票可以吗？出境时会遇到麻烦吗？请问，父母来探亲买单程票可以吗？记得以前是要求买双程票，没有回程票不让出境。旅行社的人说买单程票过来，回去时的特价再买。他们只来四个月左右，有必要这么分开买吗？谢谢。

The answer is NO, NO. no.. no.....& no. Your parents will be denied boarding the flight if they hold one way ticket as a tourist. If you are an US bound traveller, airline will not check you in the flight. This is Immigration rules for many countries.

Yes, this is Immigration rule for many countries, unless you are a new immigrant. Airline agent will deny you boarding if you hold a one-way ticket as tourist. You could be detained for questioning or deportation for one way ticket.

This is Immigration rule for visitor entry into Canada and other countries even you have a visa, especially USA. You can not pass the US Immigration if you have one-way air ticket; Airline agent will not check you onboard. Absolutely!!!

If you are a visitor, you enter USA/Canada with one way ticket. You are to be sent for Immigration screening for the purpose of ur visit. Officer could label you not a bona-fide visitor; you have the Immigration intention. Please don't try!

Airline check-in agents will deny you boarding the flight if you hold one-way air passage. They will not listen to you SORRY, WHY, WHAT,IF all these silly excuses. In serious case, you will be deported & registered you in black list.

我父母去年夏天来时买的单程.不过你还是买双程吧. 买两个单程还是比双程贵.特价一班只给买双程的.

没有规定旅游探亲一定要买双程，我父母来了两次，都是买单程票的，没有问题。我们这两次买单程票都是因为从国内来的机票没有打折票，单程双程一样价格，所以我们决定买单程。

Your parents could end up in detention centre waiting for questioning. The worst case that your parents could be deported if travelling on tourist status. This could happen to any tourists with one way ticket.If your parents have USA visa holding one way ticket, they won't be allowed to check in the flight. If they got checked in flight in China, they would be detained and sent back to China. No kidding, check it out and do it according. It is better to follow the rule than say sorry.

Your parents status is that your are the child of the said tourists. Canadian officers can exercise his/her discretion to let your parents in the country. DO NOT take this for granted. They could be deported back to China.

从我个人的实际经验来说，从北京走买单程票没问题。从香港走就需要来回票，特别是国泰。加拿大海关会问为什么没买双程票，但是只要解释合理，一般也都会放行。

If you are a visitor to Canada/USA, you can not board the flight. Airline agent will not check you in because you hold a one-way ticket, there is no exception. Plese DON't TRY!!!!! If you are a landed immigrant status, that is okay.

Recently a Taiwanese women Li chuna Hua entered Canada with one-way ticket, she got detained & questioned. She was denied entry into Canada though she had a valid Canada visa. One way ticket will cause problem.

If your parents entered USA with one way ticket, they would be detained & sent back to China. No mercy. You parents could not even board the flight to USA with one way ticket. Your parents were lucky last time. DON' T try that again.

Common sense prevails, please don't try something that will jeopardise your parents or friends to be locked up in Immigration for questioning. ultimately, they will be deported & sent back to their original place.

She is going to sue Canada Immigration for compensation. If I were the judge I would bar her for life. Being ignorant is ok but taking legal action for what she did is really stupid. She will never be able to come to Canada again, period!

Many unfortunate cases about denied entry due to language problem. If this were in USA, you could be retaliated by anal search, this could be pain in the ass suffering if you argue with the Immigration officer who has the ultimate power to admit you.
