工作学习 / 求学深造 / 请问:想今后从事三维动画设计方面的工作(特别是人物造型),好象sheridan和seneca都有学3d的课程,但seneca要贵很多,不知道为什么?还有,如果是学的certificate,有没有学分?将来能否转到UNIVERSITY里去?是否现在读CONTINUNING EDUCATION里的证书,是不是不用考托福就直接能进去念了?还有在继续教育处念的DIPLOMA 和CERTIFICATE有本身有什么不同,和FULL TIME里的又有什么不同?多谢,多谢

Sheridan 是数字媒体领域的名校，大把学生在 Hollywood 做电脑特技。相关专业的学费比较贵。Seneca means nothing.

Just wonder: what kind of visa do they hold for working in Hollywood? Both TN and H1-B require a BS degree. Or are they have relative BS degrees from China?

Toefl is not required for college admission. Diploma指College的毕业证书,相当于国内的大专文凭, certificate是培训结业证书. 学分能否转到大学,完全看大学有没有对应的课, 一般越是专业的越不行.我自己曾经在一个College读过一学期CS, 只有英语和communication能转. Senca and Sheridan are both esteemed colleges, the credits from which should be accepted.

Your portfolio is much more important than your education background. However, it will be easer to be accepted by the employment market if you have a diploma instead of a certificate. Good luck!
