但国内的大专一般是大学三年级!那么加拿大的COLLEGE是比大学一年级高还是低?

相当于2年级。有的在college读两年是可以转到university三年级读的。

嗯？不能吧，如果是相同专业是可以转学的。另外seneca还跟york有很多合作课程啊。学校网页上有写的阿。

他好象专业不一样。但是确实转学分很难的，我另外一个朋友在seneca学了java,死活没给他转，只给他转了国内本科读过的一些课。

Lower Level Universtiy. There are two kind of college programs - career training & university transfering. The second can be transfered to the third year of universtiy directly, but the courses are terribly dull.

For example,in Douglas College, BC, the CS program, studies math and computing basics and can be transfered to the 3 year of SFU. The CIS program, studying VB, C++, etc and helps little for transfering.

这与国内有很大不同。college和university办学的宗旨和方向不同college注重professional skills,学的东西与实际工作联系多，毕业后直接就业，可以成为专业技师、技术专家；university注重acadamic research，可以一直学到Ph D，搞科学研究，成为科学家。当然，就学术水平，college比university低。我个人理解，college可以译为职业大学。这边的college分很多，有公立的私立的，给的学历或证书也很不同，就业率、水平也相差很多，要多加比较选择。

oh, and by the way, in case you don't know, the level and quality of education do associate closely with the probability that you can find a job. We actually did a study on that in statistics.
