工作学习 / 求学深造 / 我应该接受哪个Offer?各位前辈，我收到两个录取通知书，分别是Windor University, EE, ASIC implementation of Digital Filters, University of Ottawa, ECE, Digital and Optical Communication. Windor will provide me with RA for sure and Ottawa is going to provide me with TA not surely.
各位有经验的前辈能否给些建议，我应该接受哪个Offer?两个专业的工作前景如何？万分感谢！

专业方面我不了解，两所学校各有千秋，分不出高低。如果是我就看看专业和学校以外的因素，比如Ottawa是加拿大的硅谷，Windsor离美国近什么的。-----抛砖引玉。

if U.O is at tier 2, then WindsorU is of 2.5th tier. ur major itself has little to do with the fact that Windsor is close to usa, ---detroit is not a place of ur major.

You are misleading, man! Be frankly, programs should always come first and in this case ANSI is better than Optical. General ranking won't be very helpful when his/her job hunting season comes.

Thanks a lot. From the financil support, U of W will provide me with RA for sure and U of O may provide me TA (not sure). How much difference is it between RA and TA, I mean how much money respectively. Thanks.

It depends.For RA, you should talk to your boss to decide the money. For TA, it should be a certain amount. In U of Windsor, ECE, TA is 3570/term. Normally every graduate student has chance to be TA twice a year.
