I was asked to show them the certificate of degree personally. The admission officer took my translation copy and returned my original cert. For your case,I am not sure if the requirement mentioned about "orignal" or "photocopy" of your certificate of degree. What I really mean is only the translation copy is not sufficient. At least you should mail them the photocopy of your cert with the translation copy.

The safest way is to call the admission office and ask what they really mean.
