The idea of being a housewife, even for a period of time sounds scary to most of young chinese wives, cause we are not brought in a family where mothers are housewives.It is normal that a wife wants to find a job, it's part of having her own identity and being independent.
You have to help your wife to find the balance between her career and family. .She can have both if she is not only caring for her happiness.
