工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / 请教： 关于Virtual PC的Credential问题我的Desktop （下称host）联在公司Domain上，可以用Windows Authentication登录domain内的SQL Server （下称Server）。Desktop上装有Virtual PC（下称VPC）。VPC相当于一个Stand alone的Server，虽然可以联网，但是无法登录Domain上的那些Server，因为那些Server只认Windows Authentication。问题是，是否有可能让VPC使用host的credential，从而可以登录到Server上去？我拥有host的 Admin权限，所以只要能解决问题，如果有必要，在host上装什么proxy软件也可行。

看着挺在理的，你那是把它们当作物理上两台不同机器来讨论了。VPC和HOST的关系不那么简单。而且，别忘了系统都是人编的。VPC同为微软家族的产品，继承一下HOST的CREDENTIAL并不是一件难事，而且，这是一个非常非常COMMON的REQUEST。如果答案真的是“无解”的话，只能说微软的人太滥。早晚，会实现的。

我看没戏。Virtual Machine目的就是要建立独立于HOST的虚拟硬件和OS环境，我用VMWARE和VPC也有七八年了，第一次见到有这种REQUEST，并不觉得COMMON。或许你有个特殊的应用环境吧，TERMINAL SERVER倒是都用HOST的Credential，你可以看一下

有太多的人批评微软了，因为这太容易了人云亦云谁不会？搞unix 的人不要觉得自己高windows一等。
windows精深的东西多了。

BTW, I shouldn't have replied too quickly. I just read your first post again and not quite sure what you want. Are you talking about remote logon to other servers from your VPC?

When we talk about the credential, it is related with security. Any body can not create a product which conflicts with the security's principle. If you did that, you are a hacker instead of a product developer.

老兄，不矛盾的。VPC不是一个完全独立的PC，可以视作SUB DOMAIN(HOST)下的一台机器，技术上、理论上都可以继承HOST的Credential的。如果是看作完全独立的两台机器，那么诸位说的一切都对，当然，上面的问题也不会存在。

why don't you use your own creditial to access server? if the SQL only can be access by domain computer, then your VC has no way

i think there is a windows running on VPC, if we call it CLIENT, just configure the CLIENT to the DOMAIN and login to domain -- just like you confiture another PC to work with the SERVEr.

机器必须先加到DOMAIN里去才能用DOMAIN的ACCOUNT去登陆， 然后才能用WINDOWS的
AUTH去连SQLSERVER。 你得让你的DOMAIN系统管理员把这台VPC加入DOMAIN先。
