工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / 问个关于IIS 5的问题。一个简单的Web Server，目的是要列出局域网另一台机器的文档盘的所有目录文件。Home Directory设成net computer的share folder (是root directory上不同与缺省的D$的另外一个share name "doc")，Server设置Read, Execute, Directory Browse。现在的问题是，
如果直接访问http://localhost 该页无法显示
如果直接访问根目录下的的子目录http://localhost/abc，该子目录下面的文件什么的都正常被browse。
应该没有权限问题，因为Web Server连接到network directory是用的Admin账户。百思不得其解，过来问问。

don't quite understand what you said. u mean abc is a subdirectory of D$ on another PC, but that dir could be browsed, only D$ cannot be browsed?

是的。为了避免Security的原因，另外建立了一个share name "doc" 以避免使用"D$"。所有的子目录及其以下部分都正常，唯有根目录不能被browse。搞不懂。

不要跟计算机较真，尤其是MS。建议，把所有文件目录（根目录）放到abc目录里，在根目录下放一个inedx.html redirect到abc目录。问题解决就行

如果直接把Home Directory设到abc子目录也可以，不过这是回避问题，不是解决问题。我只是希望找到原因。：）再说，一个硬盘根目录下不能直接放东西，很不爽的说。

你如果是搞计算机的，这种处理问题的思路这辈子可够你忙乎的。另外，如果谁在根目录下放很多东西，俺反倒觉得很不爽的说。

嘿嘿，那是没有办法的办法。在确定没有办法之前，还是要尽量想办法。这个问题不应该无解吧？我在根目录下都有分类子目录。比方文件、软件、音乐、照片、电影，等等。

in IIS admin, open the propertis of the virutal directory that points to your D drive, directory security, make sure you've checked the otpion "integrated windows authentication"btw, you don't have to share D drive for web browser to browse the folders - they are two different things.

it's checked. 不share出去IIS服务器看不到另一台机器的Folder呀。It's the network directory not the local directory.

I've thought you set it up locally. It's by design that you can't view root folder on a different server. I don't think there is workaround.
