One user have 3 different email accounts, he is one of users in AD, have one mailbox in Exchange server. I enabled Default POP3 Virtual Server, setup 3 email account with POP3, no Exchange Server account. When I sent test email by using my email account to one of email address of this user, this user got the same email three times. Is anybody know what's wrong? How to solve this problem? 我不知道你怎么设置的，但我照你说得设置了一下，只收到一封，就是发向指定地址的那封。1。这个用户有一个mailbox，并且有三个email address attached，right？

1.right.2.三个地址是其他地址,不是和公司domian一致的。我用了recipient policy, add other 2 email accounts, total different with domain email account due to we have different brand production.

yes, I enabled Exchange POP3 service in order let users can receive email by setup POP3 account in Outlook.The email addresses users had are not public or free email address, like gmail.com or 163.com, all of them belong to our company. I need to configure MX record in my DNS server. The functionality we need for our company's users, Exchange can not figure out or cost too much to do that. IMail Server rocks.I tried IMail server that fit our requirement for user such as share canlendar, multi-domain email address without create other domains, anto reply by using the email address that people sent to, some user can not send out email by using his domain email address. glad that you found something workbut exchange is definitely better than imail. your initial desciption wasn't clear. Exchange handles multiple smtp domain very well, what you need is to add new MX records, and add new address into existing recepient policy( or to create a new receipient policy with approprieate filter), which you figureed out already. for different people getting differnt set of email addresses, you just need to use different filter, which may be difficult to compose at times.as for got same email 3 times, that is because you've set up both MAPI and pop3 connection for same mailbox. you shouldn't have had to set up pop3, which I mentioned already.

如果你需要设置你的拥护，用outlook通过exchange serve接收外部pop3邮件，你不需要打开pop3 service。你需要看起来你需要 pop3 connect manager.你的用户outlook只需要设置一个exchange 邮箱就够啦。如果你不通过exchange server直接在outlook上面设置pop账号，然后把email 德delivary文件设到exchange server,你的用户的outlook 需要设置3个邮箱加一个exchange mailbox. -kevin_tor(KFC); 2007-3-14 {159} (#3552230@0)
