封了是指什么啊? 我自己写了个程序可以通过BELL 的 smtp server 发邮件啊．

封25是行规，基本上北美大的SP都封25，为了减少垃圾邮件和安全的考虑。封22应该没道理。用BELL的SMTP SERVER是另一回事情。

About 4 years I have been using Bell DSL for SSH. From Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, now Markham.

这个很难理解：对外25端口要用来发信，22端口也是很普通的应用。是不是临时现象？还是你的本地防火墙的问题？

i tried it without any firewall on my end. yeah, we think ssh is nothing special, but all 3 bell support staff had no clue what it is. i had to tell them it is a secure version of telnet. anyhow, not my worry anymore.
