工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / How to get Printer status from VBAI have a program running on a press machine to collect some data relate to printing quality. when printing finish machine will send a signal to trigger a Excel file( with VBA) to generate a report about those logged in data. my question is how i get printer status (like online/offline , paper out etc.) from Excel

1. VBA does not have these function, even VB; 2. need to call windows API, depends on your OS; ....3. couldn't get paper out infomation unless calling printer's API; 4. There is some printing software in the market, better to buy one
