if u r using router, the public ip address is allocated to the router, not ur own pc.

btw, u can also try to power off (unplug the power cable) ur 4200 modem for more than 3 secs, not necessary to unplug the network cable.

如果你用了路由器，使用ipconfig是查不到你外部ip的。这涉及一些网络基本知识，还是先了解一下这些知识再问比较好，否则解释很费劲

This is the point, you should login to your ADSL modem to find out actual IP allocated to you, In fact, your PC IP address is allocated by DHCP ADSL modem by default configuration.

如果你用的上网是直接从服务商拿到的IP，比如不带路由器的Rogers或用PPPoE直接登录的Bell上网，这两个IP相同；在有路由器的情况下ipconfig看到的是路由器分配给你的内部IP，就与外部IP不同了。

我用的是Bell 高速，只有一个ADSL Modem (Speedtream 4200)， 不知道属于哪类？ WhatIsMyIP 查询时Modem 电源关了再开，结果不一样。ipconfig 查询结果一直都一样。

这个问题本身就很奇怪，1，为什么要改变你的挨批地址，2， 重新得到的挨批地址是否会与原来的不同取决于很多因素，有人告诉你12小时，估计是觉得很难向你解释才随口一说的，何必再问那么细，你要是有什么应用必须改变挨批地址，告诉大家，也许有人会给出一些变通的方案。
