工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / Need help with printer setting pls! Print-out are different on different printers. Thank!I have a pdf file, all the print-out are different on different printers, and most of them is different from with my setting on computers( margin, scale).
Difference are:
1. top or left margin
2 Scale (some are 96% zoomed)
My setting on computers are no zoom (100%)
This is for a mail application, so I need a unique print-out on different printers. I can change all configurations both on computers and printers.

一般来说不用设任何东西，你看看两台机器使用的都是 PCL driver。如果一台使用了PS driver.打印的东西就可能不一样。

When I print, the print dialog shows all are PCL model, so I think driver is PCL, I checked HP website, found driver are different with the one we using now, but I am not free to upgrade the driver...

PCL or PS 是在安装打印程序的时候选的。不过看你的这种情况不像这个问题，你的打印到底差多少啊？几个mm?帮不了忙，给你顶一下

我的理解是，你有一个PDF文件，在不同打印机上打出来的不一样大小。还有一个问题有可能的是在打印机上的纸的大小的设置，如（A4 - letter)不过这种机会小过1%，你可以去看看。

先谢了.纸张设置正确(打印机和计算机全是LETTER),PDF的properties也是8.5*11, 打印的图片大小现在一样,但margin全不一样,差1mm-1cm左右.因为是mail,要求折叠后地址栏一定要在信封的窗口显示,所以要求严格

我用的ADOBE READER 7.0， print框里有设置Auto-Rotate and Center和Choose Paper Source by PDF page size，分别选和不选，你比较一下。

另外,检查过所有电脑和打印机上的设置,能试的都试了,还是不行,唯一没试的就是升级driver了,不过那个...不在我们公司打印....在"mail provider"那,跟BA要Printer and printer setting specification呢...
