工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / oracle storage level replicationi have question about oracle data replication. i used to use the "data guard", which comes with the oracle enterprises, to replicate the data. Now we change oracle to 10g standard to save some money, but it does not come with the "data guard". so i need to find some solution for the storage level data replication. Does anyone have any experience on this? Thanks in advance. I use sun storage array.

do you require local or remote? I believe data gurd can be designed into 10g release 2. and if not, there are many ways to replicate Data on storage level, money talks.

only require local. money is the problem.only require local. money is the problem. i did not have budget it right at the begining. the oralce data guard only come with oracle10g enterprise version, so i try to solve it with the limited money for a good solution. If money is not a problem, there are many options for me. thx.
