工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / 请教关于OLAP CUBE的问题，高手们来帮帮忙哈: 最近想给个cube加个新dimension，可是。。。一到count dimension members就报错。 "Unable to count the members of the 'XYZ'level. Unable to open the record set. Error: Timeout expired."
aggregation storage space 也足够
原有的cube都能有，但是如果把已有的dimension删除，再add，也会报同样的错
请高手们给指点一下吧，我都折腾了好久了:S

我到另外一个DB下的cube试着去add a new dimension (time dimension)，count到days才报错。是因为space的问题吗?

how about add a smaller dimension to you cube and count it? (like lowest level is monthly not daily), if it works, the problem must be from ur huge dimension

is there any configuration like default size for dimension from your cube? some of my freind could help it for sure. unluckily, they are not online

Members 不能超过64K, 超过需要用GROUP: 比如1M ACCOUNT 就不能在一个LEVEL

是不是DIM的MEMBER KEY COLUMN不UNIQUE? 把生成DIM SET的SQL 语句COPY 出来运行一下.
