I tried all of those, but still failed. The error is protocol adaptor error. Actually I didn't have a chance to change the pwds when i installed it.

I tried to reinstall it 2 times. The first time it asked me to unlock or lock it. i locked all the accounts, so failed. 2nd time, it didn't ask me to lock or unlock it. no pwd for me to read

再装多几遍也没有用啊,系统提示你的错误你都不管怎么行? 得看看服务器端listener, 客户端的tnsname配置对了没有?

ORACLE 8i的用户名是Internal,密码ORACLE。要么你试试这个。
