工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / 用ROUTE 和PC 网卡连MODEM得不到Rogers High Speed Internet 的DHCP 地址, 不能上网, ...谁能帮我? 急!但用USB Cable 连PC 和MODEM 可以得到DHCP 地址并上网, 换了一个MODEM 也一样. Rogers 查了DHCP Server 正常, 他说USB能上网, 要我查Network Cable, 我也换了,还是没招, 谁能帮我? 急!

PC网卡：把modem和电脑相连，打开电脑，断开再打开modem；Router：把modem和Router相连，打开Router，断开再打开modem。

A couple of testing needs to be done.Use http://192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 to login router and check if router has a valid IP address assigned to outside port, it usually should be 24.xx.xx.xxx, if it does, then your router works fine. then on your pc command prompt, ping your router's outside port. If the ping succeeded, then you should be ok. Otherwise, the problem could be your network adapter. tell us how's your testing.

The Route connect to the MODEM, the route can not get the WAN IP, the WAN IP is 0.0.0.0., If the PC connect to the MODEM, pc get the the IP at 169.254.206.74---that means not a correct the IP address.

1. Is it set to "Dynamic IP" mode?
2. Do you clone the MAC?

I try to reset route, reset Modem, problem same. But some days ago, I clone the MAC in WAN address,(I try to edit the WAN MAC address), I want to know more detail about clone the MAC issue. Thanks.But today, I reset the route and set the MAC to the 00.00.00.00.00.00( the factory configuration).

Thanks everyone, the problem is same: can not get the IP address from DHCP---route connect to modem or PC to Route to Modem. But PC USB to Modem USB can get the DHCP address.

这是个问了无数次的rogers 问题。先pc连modem运行ipconfig /release, 然后关掉modem两分钟，连上modem->router->pc,再开modem试试。不行就打rogers支持电话，告诉他们换网卡了。

Did you setup the correct MAC address in router? Rogers DHCP server needs the same MAC as your PC's.

插个话题： 有人通过设置route 使用和PC网卡同样 MAC还能使系统正常工作吗？我曾经帮朋友连过rogers->router, 开始也是router 无法获得ip，我听说过rogers保留dhcp client 的MAC地址（或许还有modem的信息？），会导致更改MAC 无法访问。试了试把router的WAN MAC (那个router 好像还分 WAN MAC, LAN MAC)改的和网卡的MAC 一样,马上就连上了。问题是：另一台机器上网没问题，但是最早能上网的机器反而不能上了。因为它的MAC和router 的MAC一样。
