工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / I created a execute file shortcut on my Win95 desktop and that execute file is on network server. why I can't write\\servername\directory\bin\xyz.exe in short cut's Target item? But it is ok if I use map network drive name like K:\directory\bin... Thanks

That is what I wrote in shortcut property Target item. It didn't work. But if I mapped to \\server\diretory for example using K drive and wrote k:\execute.exe and it works. Thanks.

What's your application? Some exe file may only run under the root directory of a drive. For example, C++Builder5.0 installer.
