工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 请问前辈们，有哪位知道SUN Ultra 60后边的SCSI接口是否可以接一块硬盘，作为外部存储来使用？是不是需要特殊的SCSI线啊？有哪为知道型号吗？

可以, scsi借口就那几种, 不过麻烦, 还得把电源接出来

没错，我有一个Ultra 60，其中有一块内置的36GBSCSI硬盘，我想再买一块，包括需要的mounter，美国ebay上有的是，只是运费贵了点，而且还可能要交关税，所以决定在加拿大买，加拿大现在有一家在卖，但是一卖就是2块或者三块，Ultra 60中只能最多安装2块，所以我才想的如果可以接在外边，就多买一块也没有关系。
我相信肯定有这样的SCSI线，两边有不同的connector。但是电源的问题的确也是比较麻烦，谢谢你的回复

You can chain up to 15 devices to the port. any type: disk, tape, cdrom, etc..be sure to terminate the last device.

I want to know which SCSI cable with different connector can be used to connect the SCSI disk to my ultra 60 through the SCSI interface, or any other better method.

You need to put the disk into a enclosure. use 68-pin(SCSI-2 or later) male-male cable to connect the enclosure to your Ultra 60.

Any sun enclosure with 68-pin connector will do. Such as 611, 411, or even better D1000.

请问您知道711的Specification吗？想知道它所支持的SCSI硬盘的具体列表，我在本世纪内SUN的网站上怎么也找不到，711的specification。
D1000有点太大了，买回来非挨老婆批评不可，我看711还不错，比较适合在家里玩。
