工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 请教网站高手：在注册了域名后，如果要自己host，除了要在自己的机器上装DNS server，中间还有什么步骤要做才行？我家的机器24hr不关机。实在不行了我就只能到外面host，只是在家里host灵活些。

no. your's is sub-domian of homedns. I had one which is sub-domain of no-ip.com. Similar. What I want is hosting a domain at home. e.g. 647i.com

I think this is the best solution for you. 1) apply a DDNS name, like homeip.net. 2) let your DNS point to DDNS 3) install DDNS client on your webserver.This way you domain name will always point to your IP. Current my DDNS client check my IP addres every 2 minutes and if changed, it will update the DDNS record.

Got you. the DDNS server normally will cost 1x.00CAD per year, if doman name other than their own subdomain is used. Thanks.

homeip.net will cost you zero dollar/year. And its performance is much better.
