HAB firmware need to be upgrede as well as IBM support said. I am so confused. that mean I have to upgrade whole SAN and big downtime window!

HBA? if you need to upgrade that, you have to download HBA driver according to the HBA vendor such as QLOGIC/Emulex. For Linux, you might need FastTMSJ.

Since you can't use storage manager, ask IBM fix it first.Personally, i hold on with HBA firmware upgrade. I did the tape library and shark firmware upgrade a couple of times, but didn't upgrade HBA's without problem.

IBM CE 今天去换盘, 同时插进去倆个盘重新REBUILD,结果我的STORAGE MAGANER 去不来, CONTROLER 不响应, 我现在即看不到
STORAGE的状态,也不知到那俩盘怎么样了. 10个小时过去了.:(

同情阿！已经好了吗？我觉得你先把盘都摘了，看看能不能起来，不行的话，就可能还有其他的控制板或模块坏了。只能一点一点的差了。我就遇到过一次RAID卡烧了。

一般是Storage Manager 起来看着，一块一块的插。至于upgrade Firmware,就是用Storage Manager.
