if table size is too large, on windows, default is 2g. if not, there is a config to increate the table cache size. but it seems not the case. 2 cents

Thanks, you are right on the size issue. The database I am trying to load is > 3 GB :-)
How do I change the config to increase table cache size ? I am using Suse Linux, and mysql 4.0.
