呵呵,我在主机方面是菜鸟,如果您有什么AS/400或者RS/6000 AIX的问题,也许我能解答一二.小弟用的是VMware V4.52, 装的是Solaris 10的PC版本.
要在PC上跑390,我用的是Hercules模拟器. 同时要有390的整套冬冬.Hercules模拟器不占空间,而390的那套东西解压后大约20G
其他的方法,听说还可以用flex-EX和z/OS搭配,不过小弟没试过,呵呵
目前我在折腾一个相关网站http://fandezhi.homedns.org,老兄有空可以上去看看,提点意见!

您是说PC/390吗?那整套东西应该是把主机上的所有东西都'分类压缩'到几个巨型文件中,通过模拟器还原的一个系统. 20多G啊,比unix那些几个G的大多了

The problem is if i share the root password, the system will be down soon... if not, not so many things you can do...Actually, if you know AIX, and I know solaris, then we share some knowledge. After all, different UNIX products should be similar...

that's right. As the 'system suport', you don't want to re-install OS after 3 guests used your box. A mothed must be figured out to let guest do what they want but not ruin the server.one option is do whole system backup(as long as the system not corrupt, restore will work).

there is a technique called "vlinux" or something. It cut a Linux server multiple semi-independent 'Vserver'. each Vserver has a root. That's the way host company can provide root accounts on a signle box.I don't know if it is available for Solaris/AIX/HP...

I'm looking to set up a enviroment with similiar configuration in the coming weeks. I currently have 2x Netra t1 servers and am bringing in a photon array.I heared that the Sun Cluster free download has some feature disabled. Would you mind telling us which version of SC you used? Thanks.
