工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 请教高手：如何修改 WINDOWSXP 序列号（product key)本人有两台点电脑用一张XP安装CD灌了XP。两台电脑独立工作没问题，但不能联网。现在我已经有了另一个序列号。别人告诉我只有Deactivate XP, 再用新序列好activate 它就行了。可我按他说的一步一步走，到换序列号时，系统总提示序列号不对。序列号肯定没问题，也没有敲错。不知道问题在哪？是没有真正deactivate XP?

1: regedit2: locate in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\wpaevents
3: You shoud see the value "OOBETimer" double click on this value
4. now delete the "ca" part from the binary value, then click ok and exit the registry editor
5: Start-->Run and type %systemroot%system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a and click ok. This will bring up the windows product Activation wizard.

I tried your way - the system still says the product key it not correctDear Ivy_sh,
I followed your instruction step by step. I got the incorrect product key again. However the system accept the product key I used to install it. Could it be that I didn't deactivate the XP? When I went back to the registry, i saw the CA part is gone from the string. But even when the system is deactivated, i still can use IE. Does this mean i did not really deactivate the system at all? How do you determine whether the system is active or de-activated ?
