Check out the historic Toronto region, You know about the Civil War of US right? it was initiated by the Battle of York, where is York?good question, York is in historic Toronto, which is about 3 KM south of Downtown toronto.
Also do check out the Royal ON Museum, at Queen's Pak & Bloor, it is the largest museum in Eastern Canada, the Dinosaur exihbition is absolutely mesmerizing
