windows xp should has fax function. start -> setting -> printer/fax -> add fax. Prerequsite: fax/modem card. the fax/modem card should be recognized by windows. Check:desktop -> right click "my computer" -> property ->hardware.... if u can't find out a fax/modem item. U need configure it with ur windows.
After u add a fax device as a printer, when u try to send fax, just print it(MS word, wordpad...) by selecting the printer FAX......
