let's compare some of the prices in Minnesota to Toronto:(all in USD)Hi-speed internet: $30, rent (2 bedroom apt) $550, cell phone (600 minutes free long distance within continental US): $40, whole chicken $4 to $5, ground pork $2.5/lb, beef $3.5/lb, tomato $2.5 to $3.5/lb.....
the living expense here is a little bit higher than T.O. except for the housing and cigarrette (that's really cheap in US).

Hehe, one big difference you forgot to mention: no sales tax on clothes, shoes and books in Minn.

how's the life in Minn? an agent ask me to work there twice, offering about 50/hour for a half year to one year contract, but I haven't decided yet
