u can install perl or php to do developing. there are perl or php package for win32 to download.

on win2000, u need to use batch( .cmd or .bat ) instead of shell ( which is for unix)

hehe, that is so stupid. So easy how do you interprete your shell script like bash or korn shell.There is no shell interpretor on windows(Cygwin is another case). So if you want to run CGI, perl and PHP or others ...
