MQSeries is used as peer to peer comunication; MQ Integrator works as the Hub.MQSeries is used as peer to peer comunication. When you have too many peer-to-peer message delivery, then you need MQ Integrator. It works as a Hub, all MQ Servers are hooked on it and send message to and receive from the Hub. So MQSeries is local road; MQ Integrator is highway to collect the triffic from local roads.

As i remembered, MQI not belong to IBM.
MQI base on MQ Series and provide message mapping, etc.
