我从网上得知美国那边INSURANCE COVERAGE 不高，动哲要自己掏5000-1万的，我想我已在加拿大付HEALTH CARE PLAN ，COVERAGE 较高，买保险是否会便宜些？ 另孩子他爸是在美做HOME BUSINESS 的，让他买FAMILY PLAN会否划算些？

US insurance is not expensive if you can join a group plan. Try shop around. One thing for precaution is that you must purchase before you are pregnant.It is around 100 ~ 500 US/month, and delivery much better services than the one in Canada.
The state hospital is free for poor people without insurance. The Quality is bad; but I heard the quality in early 90s in California is actually better than Canada.
