德州肯定行. 我有一同学, 从中国到德州的一个小城(好像叫Austin吧)培训一个月. 两个星期里考到驾照(这美国驾照也忒好考点了吧). 然后公司付钱让他租了辆车, 在美国横行了好几千公里呢. 呵呵.

In Florida, you can apply for a DL with a canaidan DL. No exams are needed. $20. However, the expiration date is the same as B2, and you can only use this DL in Florida. I don't think it is a residence proof though.

By the way, Canadian PR means nothing to US. They only look at your nationality, and the american immigration status, which is B2 in your case.
