枫下家园 / 美食天地 / 大家有没发现Domino的水果特别好吃？面包也是，food basic, IGA, no frill的没法比现在住的地方理domino近，以前分别住过离food basic, IGA近的地方。把各种苹果吃下来，明明是一样的种类，比如read delicious, 加里果等，它家卖的就是好吃得多。其它还有葡萄，橙，奇异果，西柚，都更好吃一点。
它们进货的农场可能不一样。

No, not all are more expensive in Dominion, red delious apple 1.49$, Gala apple 1.69$, I know usually banana is cheap at Food Basic

那也很贵啊,金山Gala apple 最贵$1.29,味道都一样，水果很重,加起来钱不少,华人点滴节约的光荣传统千万不能丢，这不是钱多钱少的问题。我们这里本来有个Dominion,food basics 开门之日，就是它的关门之时。

Dominion和food basic是同一家公司来的，loblaws和no fills也是同一家公司，只是他们是不同等级的超市，针对的顾客不一样。

I am aware of that No Frills is part of Loblaws. Are you sure Food Basics is subsidiary of Dominion?

怪不得,但loblows 的肉快到期一下子就便宜好多，买回来马上吃，我的味觉不大分得出来贵的比便宜的就好吃在哪里，省了钱，荷包暖和，心里舒服。

'Domino' and 'Food Basic' belong to the same food market group called 'A&P', the only difference is Domino is Level A store, most of food is around 30% more expensive than Level C store, like food basic...so the produce quality (presentation) is also quite different in the Domino from the Food Basic.

You may also try St. Lawrence Market at Jarvis/Front St. East. Plenty of fresh produce there.

我比较喜欢highland farm，都是绿色食品。没有农药的。稍微贵一点，但都很新鲜，也很好吃。
