apc has its own program to do that already, i remember it is free. but u need to connect UPS to at least one computer by a serial cable first.

用APC自带的Powerchute软件，不清楚有没有针对Unix开发的版本。用APC专用的信号线连接UPS和服务器——注意！！是APC专用的，不是普通的串行线，用普通的串行线有可能导致服务器重起。
