我的方法如下：首先买一份报纸，得到代码列表。从你能承受的价位的股票中随机挑选20-50支。上网（www.nasdaq.com，www.nyse.com等）寻找这些股票的历史纪录（至少看两年的纪录）、每股赢利、市盈率、甚至当前新闻等。选出成长性最好的几只下单。我一般不会选20元以上的，一是没钱，二是它们的成长性不好（股价越高，成长性越差）。
这件工作说起来简单，真正做好却不容易，需要花一点功夫。

指出一点错误： 成长性和股价没关系，股价低不代表是小公司，主要是看Market Capital。

Frankly speaking, your selections are only suitable for small investment, the volume is reall low and the risk is high. No matter how much percent you earn from this stocks, you just get hundreds of dollar. No big deal.
