工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 请教各位做机械和材料的朋友，经常碰到Structure steel, stainless steel, non magnetic steel, ASTM 36/44, 什么G2、G5和G8，还有35铬钼。我很搞不懂它们是什么关系，设计的东西经常被采购部的人拿回来反问。虽说主要是设计电气的，但是也不能一碰到什么螺杆、铁板、铁块、角钢就晕吧。加上北美的材料代号和国内的都不一样，希望内行指点一下迷津，谢谢。

螺栓和钢板还不是一个手册，我不知道那些材料是怎么分的。

Structural steel -- steel shape(such as I,C,angle,etc)or plate used as structural member, i.e. beam, column and so forth.Stainless steel - a special steel that has strong anti-erosion ability, almost the same thing as structural steel from material standpoint, but more expensive.
