工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / Bell Hight-speed connection problemMy two computers(WindowsXP) can't connect to internet using Bell High-speed via a Router. the problem is my computer can't find the Router address by typing ipconfig command in Command line window because I need to configure Router using UserName and Password given by Bell.
I appreciate that anyone can give me your solution .
thanks

How did you config the TCP/IP settings on this computer? DHCP or manually config? Is this the first time you use this router? Check the user manual for this router to see what default IP it is.

thanks man, you are my friend. please click to see the detailsI got the Router's default IP address(192.168.2.1) on Windows 2000. Also, the internet connection works via the router when i use a single computer(Windows 2000), but when i plug in another computer(WindowsXP), both fails.

1. Make sure there is no IP conflict between 2000 and XP box. 2. Suggest you enable DHCP on the router / 2000 / XP, so both PC's acquire IP from router without any conflict.
