Just tell them you don't like their attitude and wanna cancel your credit card. My VISA is from CIBC. I always keep an very close eye on my account. Recently,I found a $5 parking fee in my account which is not from me. I just called them, and told them I didn't do that. On the same phone, I was conferenced to Lost & Fraud Dept. and they canceled my card and will send me a new one in 3-5 days, free of charge.

取消信用卡肯定是可以的。只不过你要支付以前电话公司划的账。因为是你提供他们号码的，属于你的过失。至于后面的帐，取消卡就当然不用付。下面是我写给你的一点关于电话推销的想法。仅供参考。 -safina(safina); 2003-6-15 {604} (#1240790@0)

多谢各位关心。大家说的对，只要自己小心，应该不会犯这种低级错误。这次中招有几个原因：一是正在申请CT的卡，接到电话以为是在核对资料，查以前的信用纪录；二是自己英语不好，习惯简单地说“是，是”，让对方钻了空子；三是对方开口就说出了我的名字，地址，电话，让我放松了警惕。加上正在找工作，对每一个来电都满怀期待，所以。。。。。。希望大家引以为鉴。 -roy11(55555); 2003-6-16 {254} (#1243620@0)
