保险是个麻烦。1。如果上加国保险，必须要在这里登记，如要登记，则要改造和办理进口手续。2。如果上美国保险，则要申明这车要很长时间在加境内，保不保由保险公司定；如不如实说，则有出事后保险void的可能性。。。

俺的车已办理了进口手续：这次进加时海关硬要做的，怪俺说了是自己的车，还当场交了１８２ＣＮ＄（不是税钱吧？俺这车是上次ｌａｎｄｉｎｇ前买的，但这次才开进来），现在限令俺５月２３日前去改造．俺的问题是俺是否可以停在哪里不进行下去了，比如还是用美国的牌照？但这样一来，下次进关时有麻烦吧？俺倒是很少会在加国开，俺是加的ｒｅｓｉｄｅｎｔ，但在美工作．
俺能不能保留两国的牌照呀？

Resale is not a problem though. you can sell it in USI imported the car this time. Fortunately my car is very new and Customs did not ask me for any modifications. I also have a problem now - the regulation said I can only use US driver license to drive for two months but I want to keep the US DL and apply a new Canadian which takes too much time. Any ideas? Can I purchase Canadian Insurance with a US driver license? Thanks!

see insideIf you have more than two years US driving experience, you can exchange to full G license of Ontario immediately. Or you can get G2, then you have to pass another road test to get G license. I don't think you can purchase local policy from canadian insurance company using US DL. The same as in US, you can not get local policy from US using Canadian DL.
I don't understand why you imported your car, if you want to keep the US plate.
