工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / help: vi command to convert hex to characteris any one know how to convert hex string to regular character/string in vi?
here is my scenario:
I want to put some non-printable characters in a file(such as new line , return characters, which are not printable), but I can't input these characters through the keyboard, so I will to input all these characters by hex, such as 0x10 for new line, and then convert them to regular string (although they may not be able to display properly in the screen).
any idea about how to do that ?

我记得\033是Esc键,还有很多值,分别代表beep,回车,换行等,可惜忘了.就记得要透明打印时以 \033开头了

借个地方问个VI问题，记得在国内的时候有人在VI里面发了条命令，把带#开头的所有行都隐藏了，我试不出来，有谁知道？（原来记得是在AIX4.3上的）
