what do you mean the default is 1000? I never used a SQL 2000 default rows is 1000. millions records is no problem.

maybe I'm wrong, I just see a message" max. number of rows to fetch is 1000" :-)

It's not the max row number, it means if you retrieve more than 1000 rows' data from the table, you will get 1000 at a time, however, you can still retrieve the rest.

don't know. you can check the manual. one table in Access 2000 is about 25000? not sure. access 97 and access 2000 there is a big sifference.

thank you, but I have a table in ACCESS, the records already more than 25000 rows. and I can not find any info in the manul and books :-(

our DBA told me the 25000, but it depands on your row's size. We found there was a problem after 30000, that new records were not guranteed to be saved to database. and the guy found this message.
