各位XDJM，谁遇到过这种情况：周六翻新drive way，当晚将车停在路边，周日早上发现吃到一张罚单。请问该怎么处理？多谢指教。

听说提前和CITY打个招呼,会允许你在一定时间内把车停在在路边.

问题是提前没有和City打招呼，因为天气下雨的原因，不太好提前决定翻新的准确时间。等到决定干活的时候已是周六的下午，恐怕Office也没人了。说实话，也没有想到，周末就停在门口路边一晚上会收到罚单。

网上申请over night parking， 大概几分钟就会批准。有一次因为在路边修车到11:00pm，然后无法再动，在11:40pm申请。11:45pm再去查信，已经批准。所以你的周六，很晚了，office里没有人了不会成为很好的理由

You may park on the street not longer than 3 consecutive hours except winter time (Dec 1 to Mar 31). Call 519-741-2330 for exemption. Forgot to ask the business hours for that phone number.

Good news, the ticket has been canceled.I just called the City of Waterloo. I explained my situation. The ticket has been canceled.
All rules have exceptions. Any way next time it's better to register parking for over night. Every household within the City of Waterloo is allowed a maximum of eighteen (18) exemptions per calendar year.

告诉你个亲身经历：我一朋友收到罚单后，我老公照单上的电话打过去说刚搬来不久，不知道不能停车过夜，路边也没有牌子说不行。因为是第一次人家就给取消了，还告诉你下次要提前申请。
