PLC is a very convenient way to borrow money when needed. Its Interest rate is low, prime plus 1.5%-2%. Take CIBC as an example, currently the rate is about 6%. Anyone has fixed income is eligible for it.

Most banks offer this service. If you have a fairly steaky job and income is above certain level, say $40k/Y plus, you most likely will get it.

上次有个CIBC的Representative要帮我做这个服务，说可以有8k到10k的credit，我觉得没用就没开。

我用过，可救急呀。说白了，就是依你的个人信用，银行可以借给你一定数目的钱，没有抵押。如果有这个，平时不用，不付利息，一旦有急需，不必四处借钱，直接用它好了，利息每个人不同，还款方式与信用卡一样。
想到处买房时，首付不够，就是靠它解决的。
强烈推荐。BTW，我用的是CIBC的，我在那里开户。

请问若借了它付首付，一般怎样还呢？每月还，几年内还清？这样就不需要交低于25%首付时的保险费了吧，可能还挺划算的。

As long as you pay the minimum every month (like credit card), it's up to you within how long time you want to pay back in full.
