工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 请教：我用的是router连rogers，想换一个ip address怎么换？我打过电话问rogers tech presentative，说我必须停用7天才可以换ip，他们的ip是和mac 困在一起的；建议我换一个网卡。真的是这样吗？之所以要换IP是因为回了一趟国后发现IP已换，不能在文学城发贴。

Although I don't know why u can't post message on rolia because of the change of IP,The Mac and IP do bind together in Rogers, the easiest way for u to have a try is connect you Pc directly with their cable modem, then the Mac will be you network interface card's instead of the router's

Then ask Rogers to refresh it, they can do it

release and refresh, if same do it again until changed.
Don't post malicious stuffs or your new IP will be blocked again

it won't work. i can read the DHCP statu from my router: remaining time is 6 days 21:58:00. BTW, I never post any malicious word in forums. Don't assum sth as a matter of course,that is scandalous
